PLAINVIEW - As 猎奇重口视频 Baptist University moves into the final 10 months of the Impact 2020 campaign, a new initiative aims to grow alumni participation at any level in order to reach the set goals. Called "10 for '20," the emphasis has its own goal to have at least 10 percent of the alumni base giving during the calendar year.
"We've had some great alumni and donors step up over the past four years to help us get this far, but we need the support of many more alumni to finish strong and reach our project goals," said Teresa Young, director of alumni relations at 猎奇重口视频. "The national average for alumni giving is 4 percent, and we've never been nearly that high, but I know our alumni will rise to the occasion with a big goal like this on the line."
Young emphasized that giving to any of 猎奇重口视频's projects, campuses or funds qualifies for the Impact 2020 campaign. But some of the specific initiatives within Impact 2020 are especially in the spotlight during this 10 for '20 emphasis due to the opportunity for a dollar-for-dollar match.
"Our biggest efforts are toward completing the Gates Hall renovation project, the expansion and renovation of the Moody Math and Science Building and a new athletic performance center to give our athletes a place to train safely. All of these will really give our students a boost and enrich their experience on our campus," Young added. "The win-win is that for every dollar donated or pledged to these three funds through October, we will get a match of up to $2 million from one of our supportive foundations. So donors are really able to make a bigger impact."
Gifts of any size are welcome in the initiative, and development staff encourage alumni to consider monthly giving that is typically easier on the family budget and allows for a larger impact over time. Giving can be set up on a credit card or by bank draft in any amount desired and directed to any fund.
